“On Thursday, the Ottawa Senators and Canada Gold announced an extension of their partnership, ensuring Canada Gold will be the team’s Official Precious Metal partner for at least one more season.
This season, the partnership will be highlighted by the new Golden Skate Campaign. The Golden Skate, which was created by Canada Gold with an ounce of gold distributed in the skate blade, will be signed by every player before the year begins and then be awarded to the team’s top goal scorer every month, posted across the Senators’ social media channels.
Each month, the Senators will award a jersey along with a pair of 100 Level Tickets to a lucky fan in a social media contest along with the post.
Fans will also be encouraged to purchase raffle tickets through the Senators Community Foundation for their chance to win the Golden Skate at the end of the season. Money from raffle tickets will be given to Golden Moms in support of moms navigating childhood cancer.
