Often, when our Ottawa area customers come in to sell jewellery, they’re surprised to learn that we also purchase diamonds. Although the process is a little different for diamonds than for precious metals, we do indeed buy them selectively.
Diamonds considered side stones are typically under 0.4 carat. For these, we can include their weight in the offer for the piece of jewellery.
For stones over 0.4 carat, the diamond must be evaluated by our GIA trained analysts.
We do not purchase uncut diamonds or synthetic (lab-grown) diamonds.
