The Kraken (2020)
Emerging from the deep like a nautical fever dream, this massive sea monster makes waves in more ways than one. An early photograph confirms the existence of a strange tentacled creature off the coast of Newfoundland & Labrador. There have been tales from sailors of strange tentacled beasts haunting the waters for centuries, but in 1878 the mystery became reality. A monstrous, 17-metre creature ran aground at Glovers Harbour in Thimble Tickle Bay, revealing a glimpse of the giants lurking below the sea.
This 2 oz .9999 fine Silver Maple Leaf captures the power and enigma of Canada’s own Kraken, its curling limbs and dismal gaze brought to life in stunning detail.
Big mood: dramatic, powerful, unforgettable.

The Werewolf (2021)
Beware of the full moon… In the dead of night, in the dark forests of Quebec, whispers tell of a creature both feared and fascinated called the Loup-Garou. This isn’t just any European lore though, it’s a piece of Canadian history. As far back as the days of New France, sightings stirred fear, but it was in July 1767 that the Gazette de Québec issued a chilling warning: a loup-garou was roaming the province disguised as a beggar.
The legend may have sailed here with French settlers, fresh from an age when werewolf “epidemics” triggered witch trials and executions. The story doesn’t just end there either. Acadians carried the tale south, where in the Louisiana bayous the “Rougarou” still prowls, ready to scare misbehaving children into obedience. Whether cursed or simply born of the shadows, the Loup-Garou remains one of Canada’s most enduring creatures of the night.
Now, its untamed spirit is struck in 2 oz of .9999 fine silver, a tribute to the legends that prowl our past.
Warning: causes full-moon obsession.
